Tharu people are indigenous people of lowlands also called Terai. They are well known for their rich culture. They observe different festivals and celebrate various events in their own unique way. Tharu Culture Show is a combination of different performances which otherwise they perform on the occasion of various festivals and social events. Every evening local Tharu people perform their culture in a designated place. It is fascinating to watch stick dance, Jhamta dance (clapping dance), Jhumara dance, peacock dance, and Thakara dance.
